WomanRising Founder trains 35 Women Entrepreneurs
Life is fulfilling indeed when you do what you were born to do. I had an amazing time training the 1st batch of the 35 #AkomaBusiness members this morning. Akoma Business Capacity Building Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs & Business Executives cape off on Thursday; 30th April, 2015 at 9am UT Life, Kisseman. Ghana. Research shows that the typical businesses started by female entrepreneurs in sub-Saharan African countries are often small, necessity-driven, consumer-oriented businesses with few or no employees and lower growth projections. #AkomaBusiness wants to change that and help Women Entrepreneurs to build Globally Competitive and High Growth Businesses.
Can’t wait for the next session probably in Kumasi. Women entrepreneurs in Kumasi, watch out for me and the Akoma team soon.#WomanRising #theSMEhospital
Multiple Personality Disorder…Maybe!
Hello Family, How have you been? Hope your weekend was restful. I am saddened by the numerous stories that have evolved since Ada’s incidence became a public affair. Some strange, others unbelievable and some others completely outrageous. I am not fully aware of what is currently happening or what to believe any more. I do not also know whether or not Ada has spoken yet. I am honestly hoping that these allegations are unfounded but in case they are; that will be very unfortunate indeed. I have heard of people with multiple personalities but haven’t encountered any before but am certain that if all the stories surrounding Ada turns to be true, then this is will be a severe case of Multiple Personality Disorder indeed because I could have never in my wildest imagination ever thought that the Ada I know of can do something this horrifying and damaging to herself. For those that have been keenly following the story, what is the current state of affairs? @YorkowMensah
This is Unacceptable & Unjustifiable. #AdaNeedsJustice
I woke up this morning to hear the sad news of a female Radio presenter at Yfm in Takoradi that had been kidnapped and raped by a gang of 3 men. As if that wasn’t enough, these men took pictures of the rape and other brutal acts meted out to her and have posted them all over social media. I am sad, heartbroken and angry because I know this lady personally and spoken at an event with her at T-Poly before. When will men stop this senseless act of cruelty and brutality against women. When are we ever going to learn to respect women and treat them like the assets they really are. This is unacceptable and unjustifiable. I am disgusted at this shameless and cowardice act on this woman. Justice must prevail and these senseless and shameful excuse for men must be arrested and made to face the full rigour of the law. I am sad indeed and my prayers go out to her as she lies in the hospital hanging on to dear life. Let’s not be silent ladies, lets speak up and reject with all our might such inhumane treatment and cruel acts on women. #AdaNeedsJustice #YorkowMensah

Man, what’s your business with Women Empowerment?
I have lived for over 3 decades and I have seen many women empowerment activities and groups being formed by women and being sabotaged or collapsed by the same women. I have seen women fight over a man whiles the man just move on to the next available woman who probably knows about the man’s unfaithfulness but still condones him. I have seen women treat other women with so much hate mostly out of envy and jealousy. I have seen women bosses treat their subordinate women so badly the subordinates dread going to work. Rise up Woman, it’s about time!
Happy Resurrection Day!!! Easter just like Christmas is an occasion overly celebrated by many people. It is a season of reflection, gratitude and renewals. A time to forgive and be forgiven. A time to be liberated and renewed. A time to celebrate and be thankful for the sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross for mankind. A time to evaluate other people’s sacrifices in our lives and be grateful for it. A time to reconnect with family and loved ones and certainly a time to begin again or continue on our live’s quest better equipped and refreshed.
My question this year is WHAT IS GOING TO BE DIFFERENT WITH YOU!!!. With all the sermons, communion, anointing and ‘impartation’ you have received, what are we to expect from you. With all the commitment, rededication and assurances you have made in church or at home this Easter, what will be different about you this time around. Indeed Christ has Risen in Glory, now we are waiting for you to rise and show the world who you truly are and what you possess. Continue reading
